Kali is the Hindu Goddess of destruction. She is black skinned and wears a necklace of skulls and a skirt of severed arms. Her hair is long, wild and untamed and she carries various weapons, the one over her head dripping with blood, in her four hands to destroy any type of evil that stands between the devotee and God. She is fierce and force to be reckoned with. I have her tattooed on my right bicep. This is the Kali temple near the ashram. Tonight was a special festival for Kali. There was very loud music playing which featured a woman screaming. I assumed it was Kali on the rampage. I paid my respects and got out of there. I not scared of Kali but the music was just to much.
