Badam milk

This little store front just opened up and they only thing they sell is Badam milk. I'm not quite sure what it is made off but it is delicious. Its sort of like a hot Lassi but sweeter. They man pours the drink into a metal pitcher and then adds sugar and mixes it by pouring it back and forth between metal pitchers. When it is properly mixed he pours it into a glass. The skin on the top is covered with almonds and cashews. In this pic is is taking some of the skin to place on top of my glass. Karuna put a tiny bit more sugar on the top just to finish it off. This shop is doing a booming business. It is right at the middle of a very busy intersection in downtown tiru. The place is jammed with families sitting on motor bikes having a great night out. I just love India.
