this is a picture of the holy mountain arunachala, or shiva as the element of fire. we have been having some strange weather fro this time of year. it has been cool with lots of clouds and some rain. as you you see the mountain is partialy obscured from view, it is sort of like when your mind is lost in confuusion and you loose sight of any sense of peace and calm. the calm, like the mountain, is always there. all you have to do is wait for the clouds to pass......

i took this pic from the balcony of my apartment. the apartment is about 1 km away from ramana ashram. you turn left where the big open lot is where they park the buses during the full moon and go down towards the lake by where the bhagan house is. if you have been here lately, it is across from sp guest house where mooji is currently giving satasng.
