you call this french?

this is a side street in a town call pondercheri. it was france's one colonial outpost in india. it was quaint in certain way, but i thought it would be a little more charming. we did stop a french bakery and got some kick ass chocolate cake and an eclair. funny thing is in pondicheri every restaurant is filled with booze. i went to see a psychic "doctor" he is a disciple of the gurus in auroville.he is in his 70's with twinkling eyes and a wry sense of humor and only accepts donation. my friend amala had a very power full experience, me not so much. he told me a experienced a traumatic event at age 7 and told me when people look into my eyes they see a 7 year old. which explains why i get my self so stressed out over life. he told me he fixed the problem and with in 7 days my eyes would look like they are 48 instead of 7. maybe now you all will treat me with the respect i deserve and stop stealing my transformer dolls. anyway, amala took me to a store called FABINDIA,and i bought a hand woven bright yellow bed spread for about 15 bucks and a bright orange and beige dhurri rug for 30. they are amazing.

FabIndia is great! They have a couple of stores in Bombay. BTW, the 7 year-old eyes... keep 'em. Saves on the plastic surgery...
