it's the mothership

this strange looking geodesic dome is called the "matirmandir" it is located inside of this Utopian community called auroville. there are about 2000 western type people that have stared this town based on the Utopian ideals of peace, art, equality and non religious based consciousness. sounds cool right.inside this dome are these ramps that lead up to a chamber that constantly channel a beam of sunlight into a huge crystal ball that is supposed to help you reach a higher plane of consciousness. they would not let me in.i believe they are a very good judge of character. really you have to have a reservation a day in advance, which i did not have.
