This is so clever and quintessentially Indian. Out of the simplest materials and using only the hands, some made this lovely work of art. Peacocks are a symbol of enlightenment. There are many peacocks living in the ashram. They are lovely to behold when they wander the roof tops with their tails fully fanned out. The shrill squawking they make when alarmed: not so lovely. I guess enlightenment is like that; you have to include the beautiful as well as the uncomfortable. (click on the pic to enlarge).
