my girls

these are my friend's karunas two little girls. karna made a fab, spicy shrimp lunch with fried potato's and okra.
i taught the girls how to use a digital camera which they loved. they are quite the little potogs. after lunch karna lt me borrow his motor bike and with no previous experience i drove right through the middle of town in typical indian traffic yikes! i then drove out into the country side for a few hours. it was stunning. brilliant green rice patties, naked children playing by the side of the road and miles of empty, semi arid land framed with small mountains, at one point, the villger cover the road with dried rice sheaths with you run over to thresh it. only in india kids. even though traffic is chaotic, it is a rush to drive in. oh joy.
