yup kiddies, once again it is your favorite holiday, pongal. you get to celebrate your bountiful harvest, ride on an bullok cart pulled by a tarted up ox(ballons on the horns and a lot of body paint) and wear your brabd new sari that aunite gave you. this is inside of a temple at my ashram. it is Nandi the bull, who is the god shiva's mount. the branches on the out side are sugar cane and the garlands of fruits speak for themselves. quite festive if you ask me. my life here unflods gradually, with a new adventure and a new lesson every moment. i went to see genesh (ramana's nephew) today. his message was so powerfull yet so simple. just rest as the natural quiet that you are and simply don't get invovled with what ever doo-doo your mind may happen to trowing at you. i went to to a chai shop, basked it this quiet and played with a few very naughty yet delightful children. it doesn't get any better than this.
